Hello! Hello! Hello!
It is Sunday and the beginning of a new week so let’s wrap up last week and see what this one will bring. The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme
Personal
Last week wasn’t the best week for me. I was really struggling at work. There were a lot of changes in my department in the last year and I think I reached the end of my patience this week. But the week is over and I had time to relax this weekend and ready to start the zoo all over again. Well kinda, lol.
But it wasn’t all bad. A friend and I have started making plans to go to Italy in September. And while I’ll already be in Europe I’ll make a stop in Porto to visit my friend Catia. I’m super excited to start planning all of this. It will just be two weeks of good food and drinking wine.
Last week on the blog
Last week was the first week I tried a new meme on the blog Music Monday that was created by Drew @ The Tattooed Book Geek.
Also, did a cover reveal for The Lost Legends (The Nihryst) by Cait Marie
What I’m reading
I just finished Now Entering Addamsville by Francesca Zappia which I really enjoyed 4 ½ stars
I am starting Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw and Blood Heir by Amélie Wen Zhao
Coming this week
As always I will be doing Top Ten Tuesday and Can’t-Wait Wednesday but I have also a backlist books post that I want to read this year and a recap of my most disappointing reads of 2019.
Books added to my TBR
I just added Pine by Francine Toon after reading The Coycaterpillar Reads.
The God Game by Danny Tobey which I will be reading in February with my buddy Mel.
This one popped up on Netgalley and just had to request the arc for it. B*Witch by Paige McKenzie & Nancy Ohlin
Let’s chat!
What have you been up too? What are you reading? Leave me a comment.
I liked Addamsville. That ending felt like the possibility of a second book, and I have to say, I would be down for that. Good luck planning your trip, and I hope work is tolerable.

Nice Review , and the only book I’ve read from your list The God Game which sadly I didn’t like. But the others look like they might be good reads .

Sorry you didn’t enjoy The God Game. I think it might be a polarizing book.

I am literally still trying to read Capturing the Devil. A whole week. Two pages. I want to read it but SO MANY BOOKS.

I have that too. Sometimes I feel I can’t focused and get distracted by other things. I usually try to read a quick easy book instead to see if it helps.

I loved Italy when I toured 20 years ago – it was beautiful and that was before the Euro. I imagine it would be much easier now. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did

A lovely update. I admit to being a bit jealous that you get to go to Europe and especially going to Italy. Great Sunday post.
