Hello! Hello! Hello!
I am taking part in the Bookending Spring event this year. There are lots of fun blog prompts and I am so happy to be participating in this one. This prompt was created by Jayati @ Its Just A Coffee Addicted Bibliophile. Be sure to go check her blog out.
Today we are asked to share with you what we would bring on a Reading Picnic. I love this idea so much. Allons-y!
You need your essentials:
- Book or Kindle
- Blanket
- Cushion
- Sunglasses
- Phone & Headphones
For drinks, I would bring some water, iced coffee and a big bottle of lemonade. Maybe a little chardonnay if it’s somewhere you can drink.
And for snacks, because I’m French and fancy, lol, I would bring a charcuterie board with cheeses, olives, charcuteries, bread & crackers and some fruit. I will need some wet ones too cause those are a bit greasy so maybe not the best foods to eat while you read but what the hell I’m doing this picnic in style.
And for dessert a pavlova and cupcakes
Bring your lace parasols and we have my Jane Austen fantasy!
Anyone want to join me? Can’t wait for Summer!
Let’s chat!
What do you think? What would you have brought? Leave me a comment.
…now I want dessert!! and cheese. cheese is soooo good.
especially if you’re reading a book with it.
